CUMMING, Ga. — Popular Texas-based chain Whataburger is quickly adding locations across metro Atlanta.
The newest location opened on Thursday in Cumming.

In recent months, locations have already been opened in Kennesaw, Woodstock and Buford.
There is also a location in Thomasville, Georgia close to the Florida border.

Long lines were seen at the opening of the Kennesaw location. A Channel 2 Action News photographer saw people wrapped around the restaurant and the block waiting in line.
These additional locations are set to open in 2023:

- 3201 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, Ga. 30606
- 100 Pottery Rd, Commerce, Ga. 30529
- 15 Wallace Blvd, Dawsonville, Ga. 30534
