POLK COUNTY, Ga. — An urgent search is underway for the gunman who police say killed four people in Polk County on Thursday night.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified the suspect as Daylon Delon Gamble, 27. They said he is considered armed and very dangerous.

The shootings happened at two scenes, at a house and an apartment, just yards away from each other in the town of Rockmart Thursday night.
The GBI released the victims' identities late Friday afternoon. The four people killed are Helen Rose Mitchell, 48, Jaequnn Davis,19, Arkeyla Perry, 24, and Dadrian Cummings, 26.
Peerless Brown, 24, was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center for his injuries after police said he was shot in the face.
"He was a cool kid. He didn't bother (anybody), so this (doesn't) make any sense that somebody would shoot him," Kendra Whatley told Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach.
Channel 2's Audrey Washington was in Rockmart, where she spoke exclusively to the family of two of the victims. Paris Mitchell said the suspect is his cousin and two of the victims are his sister and nephew.
“Why would he do something like this?” Washington asked Mitchell.
“I don’t know. That’s what I’m trying to figure out,” Mitchell said.
Shirley Ware lives across the street and heard the gunfire and screams.
“The son ran out here and told me his mama got shot,” Ware said.
The motive behind the shooting is still unclear.
Warrants have been issued for Gamble, who is still on the run.
