COBB COUNTY, Ga. — There’s nothing but love and respect for one doctor putting his life on the line every day to treat coronavirus patients in metro Atlanta.
Dr. Emilio Alejandro Lacayo currently works the emergency room at Piedmont Atlanta hospital. To thank him for all of his hard work, friends and family members of Lacayo put together an amazing surprise “thank you” caravan that left him with a big smile.
More than a dozen cars filled with cheering people holding signs they made for him snaked around the cul-de-sac. There was even a girl playing a trumpet!
