NORTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Due to the high number of positive cases, Cambridge High School is having its football team to temporarily switch to remote learning.
Fulton County school officials confirmed the switch to Channel 2 Action News after a letter from the school’s principal circulated on social media.
The school in Milton said the football team meets the criteria of a level 2 on the closing matrix.

Members who have been vaccinated will be able to return to school for instruction once their vaccination status has been verified, school officials said.
Officials anticipate the team will resume face-to-face instruction on Aug. 30.

The school’s football team plays at South Forsyth at 7:30 p.m.
All students, teachers and visitors in Fulton County cities with high-transmission rates will be required to wear masks until the level of spread drops. As of August 4, 13 of the 14 cities in Fulton County exceeded levels that are considered high-community spread.
