MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — Officials say a 2-year-old Georgia girl was airlifted to a Miami hospital after she was found unconscious in a pool in the Florida Keys.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department said the child was found in the pool on Friday.
She and her family were staying at a vacation rental home on Coco Plum Drive in Marathon when she was found around 11 a.m.

Detectives said the adults lost sight of the child and found her in the pool shortly afterward. They immediately started CPR.
The child was taken to Fisherman’s Hospital and then airlifted to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami.
Police said the family was from Cumming, Georgia.
The child’s identity and condition have not been released.
