Police said the victim and owner of the store, 69-year-old Hyun Chan Cha, was shot multiple times in what appeared to be a robbery. She died from her injuries at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Investigators say a masked man went into the store at 12 p.m. on Tuesday and demanded money from Cha. While she was handing over the money, she was shot and killed.
Just after 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, police announced an arrest in the case and released a picture of a person of interest seen in a yellow jacket.
Police arrested Nathan Huff, 43, and said murder charges are pending against him.

Geraine Corsey, a handyman for Cha, told Channel 2′s Tom Regan that he got to the store right after the shooting.
“It looked like a struggle, all the stuff was knocked down. And seen them pumping on her chest, I said, ‘Wait a minute, what’s going on here?’” he said.
A Channel 2 Action News photographer stopped by the store Tuesday night. Community members have started a memorial for Cha outside her store with flowers and cards.
Two young women who told Regan that they knew Cha while they grew up say the store was her life.
“It was very devastating. She was in the community for like 30 years,” one of the women told Regan.
