BOLO issued for ‘armed and dangerous’ woman wanted on assault, cruelty to children charges

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman wanted on several charges who is thought to be armed and dangerous.

Deputies said Chanta Lashelle Bentley, 33, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, cruelty to children in the third degree and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony.

Deputies did not say what led to the charges.

Bentley is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 227 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Deputies are warning people who see Bentley not to approach her.
