Fulton County unveils 24/7 COVID-19 test vending machines

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Fulton County residents who think they might have COVID-19 now have easy access to free tests whenever they need them.

Two new kiosks have been placed in Atlanta and Sandy Springs to give out free nasal swab PCR tests 24/7.

After giving themselves the test, instructions will direct the patient on how to package and return the test to the kiosk.

An accredited lab will collect the tests and return results by email or text within 48 hours.

The vending machines are part of a partnership between the Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency and the Georgia Department of Public Health.

“The kiosks provide our residents with a quick and convenient option to help determine their status,” said Fulton County District Health Director Dr. Lynn Paxton. “We hope that our residents take advantage of this testing option to help keep themselves and their communities safe from COVID.”

The testing kiosks are located at the North Fulton Service Center on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs and the Adamsville Regional Health Center on MLK Jr. Drive SW in Atlanta.
