FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigators discovered pounds of marijuana and other drugs in a car during a traffic stop.

Officers pulled over a car that was disobeying traffic lights and smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.

When officers searched the car, they found 2 1/2 pounds of marijuana, oxycodone and a gun.

The driver, Jamal Perry, was arrested for possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, theft by receiving stolen property and failure to obey a traffic control device.
Investigators determined that the gun was stolen out of Columbia County.
