Thousands of COVID-19 vaccine appointments now available at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — The Fulton County Department of Health said Saturday that there are thousands of COVID-19 vaccination slots open at the newly-opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium mass vaccination site.

The stadium, which is now the largest vaccination site in Georgia, opened Wednesday.

Vaccines are free and available to anyone in Georgia. No insurance or identification is required. Parking is free. The site also has evening and weekend appointments available.

Health officials plan to administer 6,000 vaccines a day at the site.

People who would like to schedule an appointment can register at www.fultoncountyga.gov/covidvaccine or call 888-457-0186.

In Georgia, vaccines are now open to anyone 55 and older; people over 16 with certain medical conditions; teachers and daycare workers; disabled adults; and adults with sick children.
