2 businessmen and best friends vanished from East Point; the GBI just identified their remains

EAST POINT, Ga. — The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s confirmed a second set of remains found in Chattahoochee Hills belongs to a business man who vanished with best friend and business partner in February.

Jason Salter, 39, and Kenny Guerra, 35, were last seen together on Feb. 25 in East Point. The two men were both fathers and owned Rockstar Lifestyle Print Shop in South Fulton County.

On April 15, Salter’s remains were identified. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the medical examiner identified Guerra’s remains on May 4. Both men were found in Chattahoochee Hills.

The farm where the bodies were found is about 25 miles away from East Point.

According to friends, Salter’s Altima was found in the parking lot of a Family Dollar and Guerra’s BMW was found at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex.

Family members described Salter and Guerra as “pillars of the community.”

“They were very special and loved in the community,” Salter’s sister said. “They didn’t have enemies that we know of.

Family members urged the public to contact the GBI with any information about the case that could help determine what happened and who is responsible.

Police have not identified any suspects in the men’s disappearance and death.
