ATLANTA — Rudy Giuliani, former New York City mayor and personal attorney to former President Donald Trump, testified for six hours at the Fulton County courthouse on Wednesday in front of a special purpose grand jury looking into possible criminal interference in the 2020 presidential election.
Channel 2′s Dave Huddleston spent the day outside the courthouse as the grand jury gathered inside. He said the hearing started around 9 a.m., and Huddleston got a tip at 2:52 p.m. that testimony had wrapped up for the day.
Giuliani had said he didn’t plan to talk about his testimony, and left the courthouse through an underground garage Wednesday afternoon.

“Grand juries, as I recall, are secret,” said Giuliani, who came to court with his attorney, Robert Costello. “They ask the questions and we’ll see.”
An ABC News producer shot cell phone video of Giuliani leaving the courthouse. You can see a number of deputies near the entrance and a motorcycle escort as the SUV leaves.
Giuliani learned Monday he was more than a witness to possible election tampering, but a target of the criminal probe.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney, who’s overseeing the special grand jury, said during a hearing last week that Giuliani needed to be in Atlanta on Wednesday and could travel by bus, car or train if necessary.
Asked how he made the trip, Giuliani told reporters, “I’ll give you one answer: I didn’t walk.”
The former mayor came to Georgia after the 2020 election and held a series of hearings at the state Capitol to help select alternative electors who would vote for Trump instead of President Joe Biden, who won the state of Georgia.

“I appreciate the opportunity to get these facts out,” Giuliani said at the time.
Giuliani is not the only familiar face we will see testify before the grand jury. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham is scheduled to testify on Tuesday.
