GBI asking for the public’s help to identify body of woman found in southeast Georgia

LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help to identify a woman found dead in Liberty County on Dec. 2.

On Monday, the GBI released a sketch of the woman, who they have described as between 5′9″ and 5′10″ with brown eyes and brown hair.

Officials said the woman’s body was found near Jones Road in Riceboro, Georgia earlier this month. The remains appear to have been placed in the area some time after Nov. 18.

The victim has no scars, marks or tattoos, according to the GBI.
