GBI investigating after 2 teens found shot to death

WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga. — The GBI is investigating after two teens were found dead from gunshot wounds in south Georgia.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of two deaths on Paul Lord Road in Wrightsville around 1 p.m. Friday.

Deputies found Destiny Hope Kight, 18, and Charles Jaylon Garrett, 18, dead from apparent gunshot wounds outside of a home.

Wrightsville is about an hour and 15 minutes east of Macon.
