ATLANTA — Several neighborhood streets are shut down after state troopers say a trooper shot and killed a man driving toward him.
It happened on Leslie Street near Moreland Avenue in southeast Atlanta around noon Thursday.
Channel 2’s Tom Jones is there where investigators say it started with a stolen car.
This is the 10th officer-involved shooting this year.
Officers say they tried to get the driver of the stolen car to stop but he got out of his car, got back in and drove towards a state trooper.
That’s when they say the trooper used deadly force.
