AUGUSTA, Ga. — Investigators say a 12-year-old in a stole car caused a four-vehicle wreck earlier this week in Augusta.
It remains unclear about the circumstances surrounding the stolen vehicle, but the Georgia State Patrol told WFXG-TV that the 12-year-old ran a red light Tuesday at the intersection of Olive Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, causing the wreck with three other vehicles.
Photos posted by the Augusta Fire Department on Facebook show the front end of the stolen car smashed in from the wreck.
Investigators told WJBF-TV that, luckily, no one was injured in the crash, but it did have the intersection closed found about an hour.
