COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. — A south Georgia church is picking up the pieces this morning after a fire destroyed its building Wednesday night.
Videos show the intense flames that fully engulfed the Douglas Christian Fellowship in Douglas, Georgia.

The church was in the middle of its Wednesday night service when the fire started.
Douglas Christian Fellowship streams their services on YouTube. Wednesday’s night stream abruptly ended after 16 minutes.
At the end of the stream, a woman is singing when another stops her and points toward the back of the room. People start to exit the sanctuary.

DouglasNow.com streamed a Facebook Live from the scene that showed firefighters still working to put out the fire.
Coffee County Fire Department said thankfully there were no injuries and the congregation is doing OK.
The fire department would not comment on what might have caused the fire. The State Fire Marshall’s Office will issue a release sometime Thursday.
