According to deputies, they responded to an alarm call at Terry’s Shop and found the store’s front doors shattered.
About 30 minutes later, deputies received another call at the Waco Mini Mart. The store’s front doors were also shattered.
The sheriff’s office told Channel 2 that the burglar got away with money and checks taken from one of the stores.
“The other store had damage to the point-of-sale system when the burglar jerked the cash drawers wires out of the computers,” Investigator Heather Mecillas said.
