CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — A Carrollton man has been taken into custody months after his girlfriend was arrested and charged with child molestation.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said 32-year-old Brent Matthew Vadovsky has been charged with 19 counts of child molestation after he was accused of encouraging his girlfriend, 30-year-old Amelia Ressler, to take explicit videos of her “performing sexual acts on herself while she worked around students.”

Ressler, a former substitute teacher Mt. Zion Elementary School, was arrested in Feb. 2020 and charged with multiple counts of child molestation. Authorities said she engaged in “indecent and immoral acts while in the presence of school-aged children.”
The sheriff’s office said when Vadovsky learned that he was being investigated in the case, he left Georgia for Ohio before being arrested on unrelated charges there.
Vadovsky was taken back to Georgia in recent days to face his charges.
