Washington D.C. — A Georgia photographer was able to capture the incredible emotions of the veterans honored at an airport terminal.
Photographer Jonathan Walker was walking through the Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) when he saw an American Airlines flight getting a water salute as it was approaching the terminal.
Walker tells Channel 2’s Kimberly Richardson the plane was full of WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans.
The veterans were flying on the Mid-Michigan Honor Flight to visit the memorial in Washington, D.C. and to honor the sacrifices of those dedicated.
