MACON, Ga. — An out-of-state murder suspect was found in Georgia and a local sheriff’s office helped bring them into custody.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office found and arrested a murder suspect in Arkansas at a Harrison Road motel in Macon.
According to deputies, they were tipped off by Arkansas detectives that the suspect was in Macon.
Police in Fayetteville, Ark. said the suspect, Adrian Rodriguez, was wanted for murdering Brenda Madriles, a 32-year-old woman known by Rodriguez.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit took Rodriguez into custody. Video shows them arresting him without incident.
The sheriff’s office, and Fayetteville police, confirmed Rodriguez was charged with first-degree murder.
He’s being held at the Bibb County Jail while awaiting extradition back to Arkansas.
According to Fayetteville police, Madriles was first found dead after family members called in a welfare check after she had not been seen for several days.
Officers obtained a search warrant for Rodriguez’s house, finding Madriles dead there.
Madriles’ body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine her cause of death.
