Georgia’s only American Girl store closes permanently

ALPHARETTA, Ga — The American Girl doll store at North Point Mall has closed for good. The store has been temporarily closed for months.

American Girl also closed their locations in Denver and Kansas City.

“It has been our privilege to serve these communities for a decade or more, and we thank our customers for their loyalty and look forward to continuing our valued relationship with them,” says Jamie Cygielman, GM for American Girl. “While decisions that impact our associates, our customers, and the community are always difficult, the closures are a necessary step to optimize our store portfolio and accelerate our expanding e-commerce business.”
