Golf course killings: New indictment describes Cobb County murders in graphic detail

Authorities are releasing grisly new details in a triple murder case that rocked a Cobb County community.

Bryan Rhoden is charged in the murders of Gene Siller, the golf pro at the Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Henry Valdez and Paul Pierson.

The three were found dead at the golf course in July.

In a newly released court filing, Channel 2 Action News learned the manner of deaths for the three victims.

Rhoden is facing three charges of malice murder, two counts of kidnapping with bodily injury, five counts of felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony and tampering with evidence.

For the murder charges, authorities alleged that Rhoden: shot Siller in the head and neck. Pierson was shot in the back, buttock, leg and arms. Valdez was shot in the head.

For the kidnapping charges, authorities said Rhoden kidnapped Pierson and Valdez and tied them up with duct tape and put them in the back of a pickup truck and took them to the golf course. That was where authorities said Rhoden killed them.

A GoFundMe set up for the family of Gene Siller has raised more than a $750,000.
