GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy was arrested Wednesday after police say they found drugs inside his home.
Officials say they were serving Deputy Trenell Bullock with administrative paperwork when they observed what appeared to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in plain view.
Bullock, a 15 year veteran of the sheriff’s office, was arrested and charged with violating Georgia’s controlled substances act.
Bullock is in the Gwinnett County Jail and has been placed on administrative leave pending investigation.
