Man dead after walking into Norcross home with gunshot wound, police say

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A homicide investigation is underway in a Norcross neighborhood.

Gwinnett County police say a 23-year-old man was found dead at a home on Stanfield Court.

Officers say they were called to the home around 7 p.m. They say the man walked into the home with a gunshot wound and collapsed. Police say they believe he lived in the home.

Investigators say it is unclear where he was shot.

Channel 2 crews reported seeing several police cars in the neighborhood.

Investigators have not released any details on what led up to the homicide or if there are any suspects.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
