GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police are asking for information that could help solve the stabbing death of an 18-year-old in Gwinnett County.
William Petty was found stabbed to death outside his apartment at the Residences on McGinnis Ferry Road in Suwanee on July 27.
Police said officers found Petty with multiple stab wounds to his upper torso.

“Police believe people out there know who perpetrated the murder and the circumstances surrounding what happened,” Suwanee police said in a release.
The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported Petty recently graduated from North Gwinnett High School.
