GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Three adults have been arrested on charges of having two young children and a woman with disabilities living in filth in Gwinnett County.

Police say on Monday they found several people in the home on Flowery Branch Road with human and animal feces throughout and insufficient food in the refrigerator.

Jonathan Burt appeared in court Wednesday afternoon. He and the children's mother, Amanda Bray, are charged with child cruelty.

John Walling was also living in the home and is accused of neglect, false imprisonment and battery of a disabled woman.

Gwinnett County police logs show officers have been called to or checked on the house 47 times since 2013, nine times for animal complaints including a loose goat, a vicious cat and a malnourished horse.

"They have so many animals on the outside and inside. I can't have people over here. I can't enjoy the outside," neighbor James Wehunt said.

In 2014, 17 animals were taken from the home and the Division of Family and Children Services was called after authorities found an infant and an adult with disabilities living in "uninhabitable" conditions. %

"We've been trying for years, trying to get something done," Wehunt said.

Bray has bonded out of jail. Records show the other two men remain in custody because both were on probation from previous crimes.
