GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A man has been arrested by Gwinnett County police in connection with a shooting that involved at least 20 people.
Police said as many as 20 people gathered at two houses on Reddington Lane in Norcross on Sept. 23.
Investigators said a fight broke out, and Tre Edwards, 20, was shot and killed while trying to hide behind a car.
Police obtained aggravated assault and felony murder arrest warrants for David Talamantes, 23, of Lawrenceville. He was arrested in Dec. 12 inDeKalb County on unrelated charges.
It is not known when Talamantes will be brought to the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
Because of the number of people who were involved in the shooting, detectives are still actively investigating the case.
