BUFORD, Ga. — A Buford father of four has died of COVID-19 a week after his wife died in a house fire, according to family members.
Febe Santos was killed at her home in Buford after a fire broke out on Aug.25. Santos was quarantining in the basement as she recovered from COVID-19. A babysitter was able to get the children out of the home, but couldn’t reach Santos.
