GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Gwinnett County jury expects to hear closing arguments in the trial of a man accused of killing his mistress on Tuesday.
The defendant said he did not do it, but prosecutors said he had a motive to kill.
Defendant Charmane Goins said everyone is lying, while prosecutors say he killed the victim when she threatened to expose their relationship.
Goins is accused of killing Lauren Taylor in 2014 after she threatened to tell his wife about their affair.
“I struggled with infidelity," Goins said. "I’m not proud of that."

Prosecutors said he burned Taylor’s body. Someone found her remains in Deshong Park.
A cellmate told the jury Goins told him what happened.
“He went to pick her up and he used this opportunity to end her life by wrapping a seatbelt around her neck,” Kentari Leonard said.
On the stand, Goins called him a liar.
“Obviously, he went through my paperwork, he put together stuff,” Goins said.
Prosecutors said Goins keeps changing his story.
