GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Dacula High School and Dacula Middle School were placed on a soft lockdown as officials searched for a student who may have brought a weapon to school, but has since left campus.
According to Gwinnett County schools, the soft lockdown started at 10:40 a.m.

A soft lockdown means students can move around within the schools, but cannot go outside.
The two schools are located on the 100 block of Broad St in Dacula.
