“That day, someone who perhaps lacked all the love and affection, someone who was not taught to love, someone who in his heart only evil existed, someone with a cold heart, took his life not knowing that not only did he take Nelson’s life, but he took him away from a whole family that loved Nelson and will always love him forever,” his family wrote on GoFundMe. “The joy of living was ripped away from us and broke our hearts into a thousand pieces.”
The family said on GoFundMe that after Cisneros was shot, he was able to make it inside his home to ask for help from his family before he died.
When Cisneros made it inside his Norcross residence, he was met by his father, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins, who called the police.
