GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga — A Gwinnett County family wants their puppy back after they say a couple stole it right out the front of their driveway two weeks ago. The Lawrenceville family says they don’t know the identity of the couple videoed taking their eight-week-old Patterdale Terrier on Aug. 13.
A security camera video shows a young boy letting his dog out in the front yard. Soon after, the video shows a man and a woman come by and take it and walk taking it away.
“He couldn’t sleep. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning, we still went out looking for this puppy,” the dog’s owner said of her son.

Gwinnett police are investigating.
“I don’t even like watching the video. Because every time I watch it, I feel bad,” the dog’s owner said.
The owner says the family only had the puppy for a month after they rescued him while he was starving and in bad health.
“Bones was showing,” the owner said.
The family just doesn’t understand why the couple did this.
“You could have just checked in the garage to see someone was in the garage before you picked the puppy up and just moved like that,” the dog’s owner said.

The family is hopeful that the flyers all over the neighborhood will help bring their puppy, Rambo, back home.
“I’m still hoping and praying every day,” the owner said.
