Gwinnett County, Ga. — A woman who was barricaded inside a home in Grayson with her four children after police said she dragged an officer with her car has been taken into custody.

The incident unfolded at a home on Winding Down Way in Snellville. SWAT teams worked for hours to negotiate with the woman, who hasn’t been identified. Police said the woman was armed and had made threats to shoot officers.
Police said that three of the children in the home were minors and one was a young adult.
The young woman inside the home called Channel 2 Action News during the standoff and identified the woman as her mother.
Police have now identified the woman as 39-year-old Shawndia Rogers.
Channel 2′s Gwinnett County Bureau Chief Matt Johnson was at the scene Friday, where a large portion of the block was cordoned off with crime scene tape.

Police said they got reports of shots fired at a local tractor supply business. When they got there, they saw a man run from the business. That man was eventually detained, but a woman in a white car, later identified as Rogers, drove off.
Police said that as they were investigating the shots fired call, Rogers returned to the scene in a different car. When officers tried to take her into custody through the passenger side of the vehicle, she was Tased multiple times.
One of the officers then tried to get into the car to take her into custody and she sped off, dragging the officer. The officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Rogers returned to the home on Winding Down Way, where she got into a SWAT standoff with police.
Shortly before 6 p.m., Rogers was taken into custody. She is being charged with aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer and obstruction.
She is currently being held in the Gwinnett County Jail.
