Tear gas used during standoff with knife-wielding suspect at McDonald's

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A knife-wielding man who barricaded in a fast food restaurant bathroom is now in custody.

Gwinnett police and SWAT officers spent more than four hours in the standoff at the McDonald’s on Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville Tuesday.

There were no hostages, according to police.
