A neighbor initially made a medical call to 911 just before 10 a.m. and said there was a man laying in the front yard of the house across the street.
When police arrived to the Peachtree Horizon neighborhood, they found Jones dead from at least one stab wound.
Neighbors tell Channel 2′s Bryan Mims that Jones lived in the home with his parents, but police have not confirmed that.
“They’re a very quiet couple, and the son would always come outside and just stand,” described neighbor John Villedrouin.
Neighbors told Mims that they never noticed anything suspicious going on at the house.
