GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga — An accident on Interstate 85 south in Gwinnett County that shut down all interstate lanes on Wednesday left one person in critical condition, according to police.
Gwinnett County police were on the scene of an accident near Hamilton Mill Road.
Officers said a car was traveling south on Hamilton Mill Road in the center lane when it started changing lanes to the right, before it had to swerve left to avoid a vehicle already in the lane.

The driver then lost control, causing their car to roll over, and ejecting the passenger in the front seat, causing a life-threatening injury.
The driver and another passenger were transported with minor injuries.
The car did not make contact with any other vehicles, according to police.
Georgia Department of Transportation cameras showed nearly 12 patrol cars blocking off the interstate after the crash.
