GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating after a burned body was discovered near a busy intersection.
The body was found Monday at Satellite Boulevard and West Liddell Road in Duluth.
The body was found in the woods between the Marathon gas station and a nearby apartment complex, police said.
Police said Tuesday that have determined the case to be a homicide. Investigators believe the person was shot at least once.
Police are still working to confirm the identity of the person. There are no suspects at this time.
