GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The GBI is investigating a home invasion and assault at the home of rapper Lil Durk in Georgia’s Chateau Elan neighborhood.

The GBI said that around 5:14 a.m. on Sunday, several people who haven’t been identified entered the home on Northern Oak Drive in Braselton.
According to documents, the Chicago-born rapper, whose given name is Durk Banks, was at home with his girlfriend, India Cox. Cox is an Instagram personality who goes by India Royale.

The GBI said the home’s residents exchanged gunfire with the suspects, who left the property. Lil Durk and Cox were not injured.

It’s unclear if the suspects took anything from the home or how many people were involved.
