Ribbon-cutting event held for newest metro Atlanta Whataburger

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Popular Texas-based chain Whataburger is quickly adding locations across metro Atlanta.

The newest location opened in March in Buford, but officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate the new restaurant.

The ribbon-cutting was in partnership with the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce.

More than 50 Whataburger restaurants are set to open in the Atlanta area over the next several years.
