GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating an apparent kidnapping and abduction.
According to police, a man and a woman were in a room at Crossland Economy Studios on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross when a man knocked on the door around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said he robbed the man at gunpoint and took the woman with him. Police later identified the woman as 20-year-old Christina Day.
Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach was at the scene as authorities pieced together what happened.

Police said the robber took the man's car keys, forced the woman inside the car and left.
Officers located the car in Chamblee just after 5 a.m., police said. They said the woman and robber are still missing.
Gwinnett police said they believe the woman knew the suspect.
The female victim may answer to "Kristen" and is described as a black female, tall, medium-heavy build in her mid- to late 20s, with thick deadlocks and a heart tattoo on left wrist.
She was last seen wearing dark jeans, a bright green dress tucked into jeans (like a shirt), and a light jean jacket.
The male suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, with his hair in twists, about 2 inches long, with scruffy facial hair and a gold tooth.
