Brooklyn Smith disappeared Wednesday morning; Hall County sheriff's deputies have been searching for her since then.

Police believe she may be with her father, 31-year-old Steven Spires, traveling in a dark colored Ford Taurus.

She says her daughter has now made at least three phone calls from a blocked number in the last fifteen hours, but has given conflicting information.

Police say Brooklyn Smith walked away from their home just outside Gainesville last Wednesday and jumped into a car believed to be her father's.

"You think she in her mind wants to be around him? I think she feels she has to please him, or he'll be mad at her," Selena Smith said.

Selena Smith says her daughter called her Friday night, insisting she wasn't with her dad, wasn't hurt or kidnapped, but Selena Smith doesn’t believe that.

Early Saturday, Selena Smith says Brooklyn Smith called another relative.

“Where do you think she is at?” Thomas asked.

“I truly believe she is in Cartersville or somewhere very close to that,” Selena Smith said. “The conversations that she's having just clarifies and makes it more strong that she's with him, because when she's here she's loving caring , but when she's with him she turns on us and starts saying hateful things.

Thomas has put in calls to the Hall County Sheriff's Department asking for more information about the phone calls and tips that might have come in overnight.

So far, detectives have not responded to our requests.
