GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Police have arrested a man who allegedly held up a bank in Hall County.

According to Gainesville police, the bank robbery took place at the Wells Fargo bank on Browns Bridge Road Tuesday morning.
Police said the man came inside the bank, displayed a note demanding cash, and left the business.
Authorities said the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Tuesday afternoon, Suwanee police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that an arrest had been made.
Suwanee officers reportedly identified a vehicle suspected to be involved in the bank robbery.
The vehicle was driving through Suwanee when authorities tried to conduct a traffic stop. The driver allegedly drove away near East Broad Street in Buford. The driver, whose identity was not released, was taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
