ATLANTA — Atlanta Braves legend Henry “Hank” Aaron would have been 91 years old on Wednesday.
He died four years ago just shy of his 87th birthday.
On Wednesday, he was honored at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead.
Aaron’s legacy lives on through an exhibit at the center called “More than Brave: The Life of Henry Aaron.”
Channel 2 spoke with his wife Billye about the film.
The museum played it for guests on Wednesday.
“I have seen that film several times before. As a matter of fact, it was really what prompted Henry and me to start the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream foundation,” Aaron said.
The foundation awards scholarships annually to students with limited financial means across the country.
