Parts of the Battery Atlanta reopen months after closure

ATLANTA — Part of the Battery Atlanta has reopened today.

Safety is top of mind, so you will notice some changes. And not everything is open yet but this is the first step.

Here's what you can expect:

Two restaurants will now be open – Sports and Social Atlanta and The Tavern.

Both will offer contact-less ordering and paying. You'll be able to order food and drinks from your phone, no app required.

Live entertainment is also set to return through Sunday afternoons.

Sports & Social has its LED screen fired up so you can watch your favorite teams, from the UFC to PGA and NASCAR, as well as collegiate and sport highlights.

All the venues will have limited in-venue seating, but there will also be extended seating outside. So you can still keep social distance just steps away from the park.
