PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — A couple in Peachtree City recently celebrated a milestone: 70-years of marriage. People 2 People’s Heather Catlin learned the secret to their long marriage, which isn’t really a secret at all.
Eileen Angel Pasqualee is 92 years old. And Dominic Pasqualee?
“I am 91 and Eileen has robbed the cradle,” he joked.

The couple met while in high school in New York. She was new. He was the jock. Eileen sat by a window and was cold. Dominic saw his opportunity.
“So I got up, I put my arm around her. She thought I was going to close the window. And I, and she gave me an elbow to the ribs and they still hurt,” Dominic told Catlin

A few years later, they got married and recently they shared a dance celebrating 70 years together, watching their three children, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
That sweet moment of course - broken up with quick remarks from Dominic.
“Everybody asks me, what’s the secret. Well here it is. Nobody wants me and nobody wants Eileen, so we are stuck. You need a lot of patience.”
Catlin asked how married has changed. Dominic answered quickly.
“We fight more,” he joked.
Dominic is still social as ever and invites people over to enjoy his cooking, including his favorite Italian sausage. Both Dominic and Eileen told Catlin that they love ordering from Amazon.
