Scandrett said he was disgusted by the vulgar comments Finley made while she was being booked into the Henry County Jail about the police, Officer Desai and his family.
Scandrett also said Finely claimed that the women didn’t do anything wrong.
“Eff the pigs. Eff the officer. Eff his kids. And eff all you all,” Finely said. “Maddie, it’s not our fault.”
In an earlier news conference, Scandrett warned anyone who was helping Jackson that his office would find them.
Both women were being held without bond. It’s unclear what kind of relationship they had with Jackson.
The sheriff said there could be other arrests.
There is a prayer vigil for Desai at police headquarters on Friday at noon.
