STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — Two women are dead and a man is seriously injured after a crash on Interstate 75 in Henry County.

The crash happened just before 3 a.m. on Saturday. Stockbridge Police along with Georgia State Patrol were called to help with a multi-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck, a Nissan and Lexus.
According to GSP, the crash shutdown all northbound lanes of I-75 at mile marker 225 in Henry County.

Officials said, the pickup truck, driven by Elias Robles, 49, of Garland, Texas experienced a mechanical failure causing the truck to hit the barrier.
Robles along with passengers Angelica M. Munoz-Luna, 49, and Adamaris Castillo, 22, both of Garland Texas, got out of the truck and was hit by another car, authorities said.
The investigation revealed that Munoz-Luna and Castillo died, and Robles was seriously injured.

GSP states that is is suspected that the driver of the Nissan, Tevin Riley, 31, of Perry, and the driver of the Lexus, Dinhduc Le, 31, of Morrow, were under the influence.
No arrests have been made and charges are still pending.
Officials confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that only one car hit the pedestrians and the other vehicle was involved in the collision with the pickup truck.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
