Police looking at possibilities other than suicide in shooting death of ‘Walking Dead’ actor

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Police investigating the death of a local actor who starred in ‘The Walking Dead’ say possibilities other than suicide presented themselves after processing more evidence.

Henry County Police say they initially considered the shooting a possible suicide but have now processed, reviewed and analyzed more evidence.

Investigators say the case is open and active and they are investigating all possibilities and leads.

The family of 31-year-old Moses J. Moseley believes someone killed him.

Police found Moseley with a fatal gunshot wound in his car, which was parked behind a dry cleaner.

Channel 2 Action News previously spoke with the family, who said they were torn up over Moseley’s death and they want answers to who took their loved one’s life.

Moseley’s two siblings say his career was exploding and he was looking forward to living his best life.

“He said, ‘Buddy, this is the best I have ever felt in my life. And I cannot wait to see where my career is going to take me,’” sister Teerea Kimbro said.

She and her family never believed he would harm himself.

“Nothing in my soul tells me or makes me feel that he would ever hurt himself,” Kimbro said.

“There is no way, and can’t nobody tell us differently that he would harm himself,” brother Vincent Moseley Jr. said.

They say he booked auditions right before he disappeared days before police found him.

“He had posted on Facebook, ‘Just got another one. Keep ‘em coming,’” Kimbro said.

The family also does not think the shooting was accidental.

Moseley’s sister told Channel 2 Action News her brother was well trained in firearms.

Henry County Police found Moseley’s body in his car behind the dry cleaners on Hudson Bridge Road on Jan. 26.

Officers say they found a weapon that didn’t contain a magazine. The door of the car was locked.

Henry County police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
