Henry County approves new public safety complex

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Henry County has approved a new public safety complex.

Commissioners unanimously voted to approve the complex along Industrial Blvd. in McDonough, which they say will be state-of-the-art.

The county said the new complex will train firefighters, police officers, emergency managers, dispatchers, and other public safety personnel.

Officials said the facility will include a fire facility, training classrooms, a driving pad, and an indoor gun range to provide a realistic training environment for trainees to hone their skills.

The complex will also include an E-911 facility, EMA facility and a fire station, according to officials.
